When does Showa American Story release?
Still slated for 2026 on PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam), with no specific date announced. It was originally planned for 2025 before being delayed in November 2025.
What are the PC system requirements?
Only partial specs are published so far: 8 GB RAM minimum and 16 GB recommended, DirectX 11, and 50 GB of free storage. The OS, processor and graphics entries are still listed as TBD on Steam.
Where can I buy it and how much does it cost?
The Steam page is wishlist-only for now — no price, editions or pre-order have been announced yet. It will also launch on PlayStation 5.
Is Showa American Story coming to PS4?
No. The PlayStation 4 logo disappeared from the 2024 trailer and the game is now listed for PlayStation 5 and PC only.
